Mangaotama Ōhaupō to Waipā River Catchment Restoration Project
Our vision
To make a measurable improvement to water quality by working with Territorial Authorities, Iwi partners and landowners to identify and address sources of sediment, nutrients and pathogens and to provide habitat for endemic fauna.
Location
The Mangaotama stream in the Waikato region flows from East to West, from Ōhaupō near State highway 3, to the Waipā River near Ngāhinapōuri.

Lake Ngāroto iti/ Wairoto iti
Lake Ngāroto/ Wairoto
Lake Mangakaware
Mangaotama Stream and Wetland.
